'Huwag Kang Titingin' stars bare their plans for the Holy Week
The stars of "Huwag Kang Titingin" have bared their plans for the Holy Week, from bonding with family and taking time to reflect to traveling.
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, Shuvee Etrata shared that she plans to go home to Bantayan Island and visit her grandmother's grave.
"Kasi napanaginipan ko rin ‘yung lola ko po. Siguro nagpaparamdam na siya. Gusto niya na akong makita ulit. So, pupuntahan ko ‘yung puntod niya," she said.
"Tapos really to go back to my core kasi I used to celebrate holidays, Holy Week there sa isla. So I would love to see ‘yung Holy Week ngayon doon, knowing na ang dami nang nagbago. Magnilay-nila. Isla. Beach," she added.
Sofia Pablo is looking forward to a trip to South Korea with her mom, while Allen Ansay plans to spend the Holy Week with his family in Bicol.
"Sana matuloy ‘yung trip namin to Korea ni mommy talaga. Holy Week po talaga. Kasi sakto malapit po siya lagi sa birthday ko every Holy Week. So lagi pong sabay ‘yung Holy Week vacation and birthday celebration," she said.
"Magsimba. Sama-sama talaga ng family. Na-excite ako kasi ilang beses na rin nag-Holy Week na hindi ako nakakauwi ng Bicol," said Allen.
Meanwhile, Sean Lucas is already in Switzerland with his mom. He had shared that they will also celebrate his mom's 50th birthday there.
Michael Sager, for his part, looked back on the time he dressed up as a Morion during Holy Week two years ago. This time around, he plans to go to church and rest.
"I think two years ago naging Morion ako at actually bumili kami ng Morion set. Dinala namin sa Canada at sa Canada nagm-Morion din kami minsan. So ayun talagang part iyon ng culture namin sa Marinduque and I’m a proud Marinduqueño. Sana makapagsimba ako and pahinga at the same time," he said.
Marco Masa also shared that he will be bonding with his family and celebrating the Lord during this time.
Charlie Fleming recalled that she was in "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 1.0" during Holy Week last year.
"Ever since then, I’ve never been free. So I’m really taking the opportunity of this Holy Week to spend time and to have fun po talaga. Just to think of things other than work. That’s my goal for this Holy Week," she shared.
Josh Ford plans to clean around the house during the break, whereas Kira Balinger looks forward to resting and spending time with her mom.
Other Sparkle stars, such as Kyline Alcantara, also shared their plans for the Holy Week.
Per the actress, she will be doing the Visita Iglesia with her family.
"Pero siyempre gagawin po namin ‘yung ginagawa namin every Holy Week. It’s Visita Iglesia. So gagawin po namin ‘yon. With the family always," said Kyline.
As for Lexi Gonzales, she will be Team Bahay this Holy Week.
“Kami ng mom ko we talked about it na we decided na we should take this time to stay quiet and work on our faith," she said.
