Joy Barcoma joins 'Unang Hirit' as its newest host-mate

Joy Barcoma is bringing her wit and hilarious banter to “Unang Hirit!” 

The Miss Earth Philippines 2025 is the newest addition to the “Unang Hirit” family after being announced as the show’s newest host-mate on Monday.

“What a joyful morning, mga Kapuso, lalo na’t kasama ko ngayon ang pinakabago nating ‘UH’ housemate at ang nag-iisa ‘Jusa’ Joy Barcoma!” host Suzie Entrata-Abrera said as she introduced Joy to the show.

Joy finished in the Top 8 of Miss Earth 2025. Natalie Puskinova of the Czech Republic eventually took home the crown.

Throughout her campaign, Joy regularly trended on social media for her hilarious posts.

Aside from her “Unang Hirit” hosting stint, Joy also joined “Dogshow Divas” as a guest host. —Jade Veronique Yap/KG, GMA News
