Heath Jornales makes debut appearance in 'Never Say Die'

After his successful stint at the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Heath Jornales is now back to acting as he makes his debut appearance in the Kapuso primetime series “Never Say Die.”

His acting comeback aired on Monday, which showed his character Keith welcoming back home his older brother Peter (Raheel Bhyria). The episode also showed Keith getting giddy over a text from a certain Klarisse, his crush.

On “Unang Hirit” on Tuesday, the Kapuso young star said it feels refreshing to return to acting. “Pagbalik ko po acting is really fun," Heath said. "Na-enjoy ko po ‘yung set. It was really magaan. Parang nakaka-refreshing po bumalik sa acting,” he added.

It seems the good feeling translated on screen as netizens praised Heath's charm on screen. "Heath on Never Say Die” trended on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after the episode aired.

“Heath has a perfect register on tv, noh? Also ang cute ng scene nato, bagay talaga sya sa romcom, or barkada theme series. Natural lang sha,” a user said.

“Watching NSD scenes ni Heath, nakasmile lang ako kasi sa kakulitan niya sa character niya. Kuhang-kuha niya talaga yung role na lil bro na makulit,” another user wrote.

Heath was named as the Kapuso 2nd Big Placer alongside Kapamilya star Krystal Mejes in the second season of “PBB Celebrity Collab.” 

He is set to hold his fan meet titled “Heath Wave: The Ultimate Fan Jam” on April 19, 7 p.m. at the SM North Edsa Skydome. — Jade Veronique Yap/LA, GMA News
