Kyline Alcantara plans to help those affected by fuel price hike
Kyline Alcantara plans on helping those who are affected by the fuel price hike in her own little way.
In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, the Sparkle star shared that doing so would be in tribute to her grandfather, who used to be a jeepney driver.
“It’s like an homage to my lolo na jeepney driver before sa Bicol. So siyempre gusto kong pumunta lang sa isang fuel station,” she said.
Like many Filipinos, Kyline is also affected by the energy crisis and is doing her own part to cut costs.
“Bawas sa paglabas-labas kasi para hindi masyadong magastos po sa gas,” she said. “And also, bawas po talaga sa lahat ng expenses. Sa bahay as much as possible, sarado lahat, naka-unplug lahat ng kailangang i-unplug, ganiyan."
On Good Friday, Kyline had posted a song cover of “Risk it All” by Bruno Mars, which was part of her Easter reflection.
“May mga videos kasi akong nakikita na they're dedicating that song to God or to Jesus, so naisip ko siyang i-re-create,” Kyline said.
“Pasok na pasok naman 'yung 'Risk it All' ‘cause I will risk it all for Jesus and for God,” she added.
Per Carampel's report, the actress has also been preparing for her role in the upcoming Kapuso series, “Task Force, Firewall,” through Pilates, firing, boxing, and Muay Thai.
She is set to star in the series alongside Kylie Padilla, Jak Roberto, and Miguel Tanfelix.
