Marian Rivera to star in Prime Video original 'Behind Closed Doors'

Marian Rivera is going into streaming!

The Kapuso Primetime Queen was announced as the lead star in the upcoming Prime Video original series, "Behind Closed Doors," directed by Dominic Zapata. 

It is a mysterious series where Marian will be playing a journalist, who is also the mistress of the president of the Philippines.

"Walang dahilan para mag no for this project kasi ang off-beat niya para sa akin," Marian said at the Prime Video Philippines launch in Makati City on Tuesday. 

Marian added that it is her first time to play a mistress and a journalist. 

"Kaya sabi ko, why not try something new for me?" Marian said. "Sobrang excited ako. Finally, after two years guys, I'm back."

Meanwhile, Direk Dom said he is excited to work with Marian again.

Marian last starred in the GMA Prime series "My Guardian Alien" and the Cinemalaya film "Balota."
