SB19 thanks A'TIN following Wakas at Simula Finale concert: 'You are our beginning and our end'
After the massive success of their sold out 'Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale" concert on Saturday, SB19 took to social media to write a note of gratitude to their A'TIN.
"If this is the end, we choose to see it as part of a much longer story that began in that fateful moment in September 2019," the Kings of P-Pop began the caption of their carousel post containing snaps from the concert.
According to SB19, time has given a deeper meaning to what they earlier thought were just "simple moments." These memories they intend to carry with them as they move forward, they said.
"As we look back from the beginning to now, it becomes clear that this kind of ending isn’t about losing something, but about moving forward into what comes next," SB19 said.
"For all the years that were ours, thank you. We carry you into the next chapter," the group added.
SB19 ended their simple note with a nod to their loyal fanbase.
"You are our beginning and our end," they said. "Salamat A'TIN!"
SB19 held the "Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale" concert on Saturday at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
Several performers joined them on stage including Japanese pop group Be:First, for whom SB19 also dedicated an Instagram post. "Arigathanks gozaimuch for being part of our finale," they said.
Long-time SB19 choreographer Jay Roncevalles also took the stage as rapper J2X, as did Xonara, 1Z Entertainment’s first girl group which will officially debut on May 15, and Riehata, the Japanese-Filipino choreographer who worked with SB19 on their song “Emoji.”
