Did you know that Sassa Gurl only once dreamed of being a celebrity?

In the latest episode of the video podcast “Your Honor,” Sassa Gurl revealed that she wrote in her high school yearbook that she wanted “to be a professional entertainer.”

“Dati kasi nung high school, talagang papansin lang ako. Pero natutuwa talaga ‘ko kasi kapag kunyari—high school ako di ba uso niyan ‘yung sample sample ni Meme [Vice Ganda]. Pinapagawa nila sa ‘kin ‘yun so syempre, naaliw ako,” she said.

Sassa Gurl said she is “sobrang happy” that she has reached her dreams, and hopes for other LGBTQIA+ people to do so as well.

Sassa Gurl added that she hopes to impart that nothing is impossible, and that it is important to stay true to yourself.

Sassa Gurl recently appeared in the films "Bar Boys: After School” and “Balota" after years of achieving viral status as a content creator on social media. — Nika Roque/LA, GMA News
