'Bubble Gang' to air two-part summer special starting April 26

"Bubble Gang" is set to air the first episode of its two-part summer special on Sunday, April 26.

As seen in Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the cast members of the Kapuso comedy gag show had filmed the summer special episodes at a beach. 

Kapuso Comedy Genius Michael V.  shared that aside from taping, the trip to the beach also served as a bonding moment for the cast and crew.

"'Yung camaraderie, alam mo, medyo overused na 'yung word na 'yun pero kasi 'yung 'Bubble Gang' hindi naman siya gang dahil sa mga cast lang eh, naging gang 'to dahil sa mga staff, sa mga taga-production, so it's a time for bonding for everyone dito sa show," he said. 

"Lahat nagpapakahirap to bring everyone entertainment tapos at the end of the day, nagkakaroon kami ng chance na mag-bonding, magkwentuhan, makasabay-sabay na kumain, uminom, mag-happy-happy," he added. 

Per Canlas' report, the much-awaited summer special will feature some celebrity guests. 

The first episode of the summer special will air on April 26, 6 p.m., after "24 Oras Weekend" on GMA Network. The second episode will air the following Sunday, on May 3. 

"Bubble Gang," the longest-running gag show in the country, is set to mark its 31st anniversary this year.
