Caprice Cayetano embraces growth, independence after 'PBB' win
Caprice Cayetano is stepping into a new chapter of her life following her big win in “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” last February.
In a L’Officiel Philippines feature, the Sparkle Star described her recent victory as a surprise.
"Wala po kasi talaga akong expectations,” she said.
Two months since emerging as one of the big winners, Caprice is booked and busy with television guestings, endorsements, and events.
The 17-year-old is no stranger to the industry. Caprice began acting at the age of five and has appeared in several television series such as “Kambal Karibal,” and “Prima Donnas.”
"I really love acting," she said. "Hindi po siya work for me. It’s like a playground."
And new experiences gained, Caprice says "mas marami din po akong paghuhugutan ng emotions."
She hopes to take on more challenging roles, particularly in drama, citing films like “Miracle in Cell No. 7” and “Magnifico” as inspirations, and has expressed her desire to work with industry icons such as Heart Evangelista and Judy Ann Santos.
Meanwhile, Caprice's experiences inside the PBB house has definitely changed her perspective, particularly when it comes to relationships and appreciating simple things.
“I wasn’t able to be with my family for four months, so I make sure that I always spend quality time bonding with them,” she said, adding that simple activities like dining out and mall trips have become more meaningful after her stay inside the PBB house.
“I learned to appreciate the small things more. Things that might seem small in the outside world, I came to value more deeply inside the house, like the food, the time, my family, and the friendships I’ve built,” Caprice said.
Caprice was hailed as the Kapuso Big Winner of the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0” in February alongside Kapamilya star Lella Ford.
