Michelle Dee tackles privacy, unsolicited questions in new single 'Makatanong'

Michelle Dee has something to say, and she's saying it through music.

The actress and beauty queen released her new single, “Makatanong,” on Friday, along with its music video on YouTube.

The three-minute music video featured Michelle being hounded by the press and paparazzi seeking an interview.

In the song, Michelle sang about not owing anybody any answers.

The song comes months after a legal battle with Rhian Ramos’ driver Alias Totoy, who filed a complaint against them for allegedly locking him in a room and beating him up after being accused of stealing an angpao that contained private photos.

Michelle released her debut single, the empowering “Reyna,” in 2025.

She won Miss Universe Philippines in 2023 and finished in the Top 10 of Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador, where she also won several special awards.

Recently, she walked the runway for Bench Fashion Week with other Kapuso stars. 

Michelle also continues her advocacy to support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) amid her busy schedule. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA News
