Indonesian singer Aruma releases Tagalog version of her song 'Cendana'

Aruma dropped a Tagalog version of her song "Cendana."

The Indonesian singer sang about the confusing feelings of love in the acoustic pop song. Aruma was also a total natural as she sang in Tagalog.

Fans expressed how thrilled they are in the comments section.

"This is the sweetest—foreign artist translating her song to Tagalog. So heartfelt! Thank you, Aruma. Your Tagalog sounded so natural," a fan said.

"Woah... [Your] voice fits Filipino ballads! It's so pretty, Aruma... Very proud of [you]!" another fan said.

"Cendana," which means "sandalwood," was released as a single in 2025.

That same year, Aruma collaborated with SB19 for an Indonesian version of their hit song, "MAPA." They also released a music video and the P-pop Kings went on a school roadshow in Indonesia.

Aruma is a rising pop-folk artist in Indonesia. Her popular songs include "Muak" and "Ekspektasi."
