Ysabel Ortega, Jon Lucas grateful for DarMea's success in 'Sang'gre'
Ysabel Ortega and Jon Lucas are all sorts of thankful for their roles as Armea and Daron, and the success of their DarMea loveteam in “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”
On “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Monday, Jon said he did not expect to be in a loveteam again because he had a lot of kontrabida roles, and so DarMea is a blessing.
Jon added that he is grateful for the role.
Ysabel said she also originally had seven taping days, as Armea only had a special role in the first book.
“And then in book two, ‘di ko in-e-expect na i-e-explore pala ‘yung reign ni Armea as queen ng Sapiro.
“And I’m so grateful, of course, to GMA, to ‘Encantadia,’ to ‘Sang’gre,’ na they chose our characters to be one of the highlights din for book two,” she added.
Jon also said that they trusted in the success of DarMea.
With the show nearing its finale, Ysabel teased that Encantadiks will see everything they want.
“May mga mamamatay, may mga magsasakripisyo, may mga magkakatuluyan, kung sino man ang mga ‘yon,” Ysabel said.
"Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras."
