Rio Locsin appeared on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" Tuesday and shared an interesting bit about her former husband, the actor and director Al Tantay.

The two got married at the height of the actress' career, and while they separated years later, Rio said they have remained civil to each other.

So it came as a surprise to Rio when she saw Al while taping "Master Cutter."

“Nagkita nga kami sa taping ng ‘Master Cutter. Nagulat lang ako kasi hindi naman nila nasabi," Rio said.

"Of course bumati naman [kami sa isa't isa],” Rio added.

“Hindi kami naguusap na nagtatawagan, nag-te-text. Pero when we see each other, nagbabatian,” Rio said of their relationship post-marriage.

According to Rio, she and Al did not co-parent, when they separated. But "‘yung mga anak ko, hindi niya naman pinabayaan," she said.

"Ibig sabihin, ‘pag mga special occasions, nakikita niya, nilalabas niya,” Rio added.

The veteran actress, who once played the Darna, said her daughters their family situation, and relieved her from answering difficult questions.

Rio is now married to basketball player Padim Israel. She has three daughters.

"The Master Cutter," starring Dingdong Dantes, Max Collins, Shuvee Etrata, Sienna Stevens, Jo Berry, Polo Ravales, and Ketchup Eusebio, among others, will premiere on GMA Prime on May 11.

It will premiere first on Netflix on May 8. — Nika Roque/LA, GMA News
