Sarah Geronimo withdraws from Aurora Music Festival for health reasons

Sarah Geronimo will no longer be performing at the Aurora Music Festival on Saturday, May 2.

In an official statement released by her management team, G Productions confirmed that Geronimo underwent a medical evaluation after rehearsals and was advised "full rest."

“With her health as our foremost priority, she will unfortunately not be able to perform at the festival,” the statement read.

Her team also extended apologized to the festival organizers, acknowledging the impact of the last-minute change on event preparations.

“This situation was entirely unforeseen, and we recognize the significant impact this last-minute withdrawal places on the event and everything that has gone into it,” they said.

“We are truly grateful for the understanding and professionalism of the organizing team,” they added.

Her management acknowledged that many fans were eagerly anticipating her performance and expressed understanding over the disappointment caused by the last-minute change, especially with the event just hours away.

They emphasized that the decision was not made lightly but was necessary to prioritize her health and ensure she has adequate time to recover properly.

“This was not an easy decision, but it was necessary to ensure she can recover properly.”

G Productions said that Geronimo remains committed to returning to the stage once she has fully recovered, and further updates regarding her condition and upcoming engagements are expected in the coming days.

The Aurora Music Festival is happening on May 2 and 3 at Clark Global City, Pampanga.

Aside from Sarah, other performers include SB19, Ben&Ben, IV of Spades, SexBomb Girls, and December Avenue, among others.
