Jennylyn Mercado, Gazini Ganados serve as judges at Miss Universe Philippines 2026

Jennylyn Mercado and Gazini Ganados are among the members of this year’s selection committee for Miss Universe Philippines 2026! 

They are joined by Filipino fashion designer Rhett Eala, uncle of Filipino tennis star Alex Eala, in evaluating the 50 candidates at Saturday's coronation night.

The other members of the selection committee are: celebrity doctor Hayden Kho Jr., Villa Medica Philippines Crystal Jacinto, GMG Productions CEO Carlos Garcia Candal, and Cosmopolitan PH Executive Editor Ida Aldana.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant is currently happening at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. 

The winner will be crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2025 and Sparkle artist Ahtisa Manalo. The new queen will then represent the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2026 pageant in November in Puerto Rico. —Jade Veronique Yap/JCB, GMA News
