Lovi Poe joins 'Game of Thrones' star Maisie Williams in upcoming thriller film

Lovi Poe is starring in another international film!

According to an exclusive report by Variety, the Filipino actress will star alongside "Game of Thrones" actress Maisie Williams, as well as British actor and BAFTA nominee Rory Kinnear, in the upcoming thriller film "Ignition.

The film is written and directed by Emmy-nominated British filmmaker James Erskine.

It follows Sylvie Johnson (Maisie), who gets entangled in a terrorist plot when she receives an anonymous call on her drive to London. The caller tells her that a bomb has been placed in her car, and Maisie has no choice but to follow the terrorist's instructions to bring the bomb to the Royal Albert Hall.

The film is currently in post-production.

On Instagram, Lovi shared her excitement for her upcoming film, which she said will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival this month.

"So excited to finally share this film I’ve been working on. IGNITION’s first look is out now — being introduced at Cannes this May. Can’t wait," she said.

"Oh, and by the way…the North remembers. Had to bring a little Game of Thrones energy," she added.

Lovi recently starred in the Hollywood indie film "Bad Man" alongside Sean William Scott, which was released in 2025.

In March 2024, it was announced that she had been cast in a new film, to be produced and directed by Garry. A Brown, known for his work on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Prison Break."

She was also cast in "The Chelsea Cowboy" in 2021, alongside Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne.
