Heath Jornales gets birthday surprise from Caprice Cayetano, Marco Masa, Clifford
Heath Jornales got a sweet birthday surprise from his "You're My Favorite Song" co-stars Caprice Cayetano, Marco Masa, and Clifford!
According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Heath was given birthday cakes by his castmates. The young Sparkle star turned 17 years old on Tuesday, coinciding with their workshop for the upcoming teen musical drama series.
"Happy birthday, Heath. We wish you all the best. Enjoy your day, stay mabait," Caprice said.
"Thank you guys so much. That means a lot to me and can't wait to work with all of you guys," Heath said, adding that working on his birthday is a gift in itself.
Heath also got a billboard greeting on EDSA from his fans. Recently, his fans also sang him a birthday song at an amusement park.
The new series comes as a big blessing for the former "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab 2.0" housemates.
Their workshop on Tuesday tested their acting prowess and also allowed them to learn more about themselves and their characters.
"Natgutunan ko 'yung mga strengths din ng character ko and magagamit ko siya syempre sa magiging dynamics ng cast," said Marco.
For Clifford, his character in the series is quite challenging as it is different from who he is in real life.
"Hindi siya close kung sino po ako. Gusto ko pong mag-explore sa mga different types of characters, like this character right now. Parang kasi dati po usually 'yung mga characters ko close lang sa mga kung sino po talaga ako, like soft boy, parang ganun po. Ngayon po yung na-try ko na po yung character na to medyo, kaya pala," shared Clifford.
The four stars will begin taping for the series soon.
"You're My Favorite Song" is set to be directed by JP Habac, who is known for the film "I'm Drunk, I Love You."
The series is an original concept by Mark Ivan Caro and written by Erwin Caezar Bravo, who is behind the hit primetime series "Black Rider" and "My Ilonggo Girl." It will air on GMA Network this year. —CDC, GMA News
