Dingdong Dantes, Max Collins thankful for 'The Master Cutter' feedback, tease exciting parts
Dingdong Dantes and Max Collins are over the moon about the positive feedback their series, "The Master Cutter," has been receiving.
In Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Wednesday, Dingdong shared that they are "extremely happy" and teased fans to tune in to the show over the next two weeks.
“Lalo ‘tong mga next two weeks, nako po. Dito na lalabas lahat ng mga characters na hindi nila nakita in the first two days,” the Kapuso actor said.
“Alam niyo, ‘yung exciting parts paparating pa lang,” Dingdong added. “So sana ay patuloy kayong manood at sana patuloy kayong maligayahan sa ginagawa namin para sa inyo.”
Max is likewise happy about the show’s ratings.
“It’s getting more and more exciting as it progresses, so I’m so excited for everyone to see the next episodes,” she said.
Per Max, people enjoy the show because “mabilis ‘yung pacing.”
“A lot of people told me they like it kasi na-ho-hook sila eh," she added.
The series is Dingdong's return to primetime since starring in "Royal Blood" in 2023. The actor plays Atoy, a retired soldier who becomes a tailor and tracker-for-hire.
Directed by Dominic Zapata, it also stars Sienna Stevens, Shuvee Etrata, Anthony Constantino, Charlie Fleming, and more.
“The Master Cutter” airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also streaming on Netflix. —Nika Roque/CDC, GMA News
