Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, more 'Taskforce Firewall' stars offer glimpse into characters through signature weapons
Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, Jak Roberto, and Buboy Villar gave a closer look at their respective “Taskforce Firewall” characters by revealing the weapons they believe best represent them.
During the show’s media conference, Kylie described her character, Isa, as someone armed and mission-driven, but not entirely comfortable with taking lives.
“I think si Isa, gumagamit siya ng baril because she has two tapos she's on a mission pero I think deep inside, ayaw niya talagang—kung posible, hindi siya papatay ng tao. But kung pipili siya, hand combat na lang para there’s a chance na poposasan na lang niya,” she said.
Miguel, meanwhile, said his character Galo would choose four-finger knuckles over firearms, reflecting a more personal and emotional fighting style.
And at the same time nasasaktan din siya,” he said.
Jak, who plays Hex, said his character’s greatest weapon is not physical at all.
“Signature weapon? Wala naman, computer lang. Basta ‘yung character ko, bigyan mo lang ng laptop, kaya ko na i-access lahat,” he said.
For Buboy, who portrays Jhay-Jhay, the character’s weapon of choice reveals both fear and passion.
‘Yun ‘yung hobby niya,” he said.
