Arra San Agustin to star in upcoming episode of 'Magpakailanman'

Arra San Agustin is set to star in the upcoming episode of "Magpakailanman."

According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras" Friday, the Sparkle actress will star in the third Mother's Month special of the drama anthology, titled "Mana sa Ina," this Saturday at 8:15 p.m. on GMA Network.

"Compelling 'yung story niya because na-witness niya 'yung struggles ng nanay niya sa tatay niya, binubugbog, tinitira 'yung kabit sa iisang bahay so magkakasama sila dun, then siya being herself na empowered siya ayaw niya, 'di siya pumayag dun so umalis siya sa bahay. Pero ang nangyari, umulit sa kaniya 'yung mga nangyari sa nanay niya," shared Arra.

Other cast members include Maricar De Mesa, Polo Ravales, Regine Tolentino, and Gil Cuerva.

Aside from "Magpakailanman," Arra will also star in the upcoming Kapuso series, "Hari ng Tondo," headlined by Ruru Madrid and Dennis Trillo.

"Number one, nandito si kuya Dennis, si Ruru, tapos ang star-studded nung mga kasama, so may konting pressure. Actually, may pressure talaga pero at the same time, sobrang happy ko kasi napabilang ako dun," she said.

"Hari ng Tondo" is directed by Enzo Williams and also stars Ryza Cenon, Isko Moreno, Ysabel Ortega, Rocco Nacino, Gary Estrada, Victor Neri, Nonie Buencamino, and Heath Jornales. —CDC, GMA News
