Danny O’Donoghue of The Script is in the house!

On Monday’s episode of "Unang Hirit," the vocalist of the band behind the hit song “Breakeven” made a grand entrance on the Kapuso morning show... riding a jeep.

But that's not all. Danny got quite the Filipino experience with breakfast. He got to sample local favorites such as pandesal, sisig, and longganisa.

Having performed in Manila several times over the years, the Irish singer said returning to the Philippines “makes me feel like coming home.”

Danny also shared a heartfelt message for Filipino fans and thanked them for their unwavering support for the band.

“You’re nearly the number one country for support for The Script around the world, so every time we come here, it’s an absolute honor,” he said.

“We just want to keep coming back again and again,” he added. “That’s what this is all about, to show our appreciation for our Filipino fans.”

In 2025, the Irish band also visited the country as part of their "Satellites" world tour.
