Xonara slays first live TV performance on 'Unang Hirit'

Xonara graced "Unang Hirit" with a performance of "Tabi" on Thursday, marking their first live TV performance.

The new P-pop girl group, who made their debut just two weeks ago, sang and danced to their first-ever single, impressing viewers with their live vocals.

"The mics are on! Ang gagaling," a netizen commented on the "Unang Hirit" livestream.

In an interview with hosts Lyn Ching and Kaloy Tingcungco, the group said it feels "surreal" that they're suddenly on TV after years of training.

"Sobrang pasasalamat talaga," Megumi answered, when asked how they're taking the immediate fan support. "Hindi namin inexpect, hindi kami makapaniwala na sobra pong nagsuporta ang mga tao samin at nagmamahal samin kahit bago palang kami."

"Na-fu-fuel pa 'yung passion namin at namomotivate kaming gawin po 'yung mahal namin gawin dahil po sa inyo, so maraming maraming salamat po," she added.

Xonara is a seven-member girl group composed of Eurekah, Tin, Dominique, Ella, Namie, Lei, and Megumi. They are the first girl group of 1Z Entertainment, the company founded by SB19 members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin.

The group released their debut song, "Tabi," on May 15. —JCB, GMA News
