Sean Lucas says 'The People Have Spoken' hosting stint is 'surreal'

Sean Lucas has come a long way from being the "Sparkada from the South."

He is a regular host on "Unang Hirit," appeared in the horror film "Huwag Kang Titingin," and now, he is Heart Evangelista's co-host on the upcoming game show, "The People Have Spoken."

At the show's media conference at the GMA Network Studios on Thursday, Sean said the project is one of his biggest breaks.

"Never expected anything like this. I went into the audition process not really expecting anything and just wanted to do my best," he said.

"And now that I'm here, it's just surreal, unbelievable," Sean added.

Sean thanked everyone behind the show for considering him, and also expressed his gratitude to Heart.

"Because I'm super pressured from the start. I told you how nervous I was and you've been always so warm and so welcoming, and you made it an easy job," Sean said.

Heart likewise praised her co-host.

"He's so easy to work with. Sobrang OK siya, sobrang smart. Sobrang sipag," Heart said.

"The People Have Spoken" will feature 100 studio audience members who will answer questions on various topics and issues. Celebrity contestants will then guess the people's answers.

"The People Have Spoken" premieres on June 6 at 6:15 p.m. on GMA Network. —MGP, GMA News
