Royce Cabrera raises awareness after bag gets stolen, then later recovered
Royce Cabrera took to social media to share an “awareness post” after being the victim of a theft in Manila.
On Facebook, Royce said that he had left his belongings at Quirino Grandstand together with those of his companions, believing they were safe. It was only his bag that was taken.
The actor said he was able to quickly track the bag through his AirPods, which showed its location moving from Quirino Grandstand to Circuit Makati.
With the help of two police officers and an event marshal, he was able to retrieve his bag.
Nakalapag at bukas lahat ng zipper,” he said.
Although the bag was recovered, Royce said several items were missing, including his car keys, sweat-soaked clothes and towel, his 5K run finisher medal, and his AirPods case.
Royce said he plans to continue taking action by filing a police report and requesting CCTV footage from the area to further investigate the incident.
Sobrang appreciated ko ang time and effort niyo,” he said.
Royce was among the attendees of the Sparkle Run held on Saturday. The fun run traversed across several key places in Manila such as the Quirino Grandstand, Roxas Boulevard, Rizal Park, Intramuros, Jones Bridge, and Binondo.
Royce’s recent Kapuso projects include “Slay,” “Widows’ War,” “Makiling,” and more.
