Matty Juniosa places 4th in 'Britain's Got Talent' S19
After earning two Golden Buzzers on Season 19 of “Britain’s Got Talent,” Filipino contender Matty Juniosa finished his journey in fourth place on Saturday (UK time).
For his final performance, the Filipino singer delivered a powerful rendition of “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad O'Connor.
Following his performance, judge Alesha Dixon praised Matty’s vocal prowess, describing the UK-based singer as “effortlessly sensational.”
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell called his performance “absolutely brilliant.”
“I think we have all fallen in love with you from the minute we first met you,” Simon said. “Your personality, your talent, and you’re not afraid to take on these big songs.”
“I think you couldn’t have done any more, genuinely,” he added.
In the end, Hawkstone Farmers Choir won the competition after receiving the most viewer votes, followed by drone art collective Celestial and dance duo Anastasiia and Salsa.
Matty quickly became a frontrunner on “Britain’s Got Talent” Season 19 after advancing to the semi-finals with a Golden Buzzer from Sofia Vergara.
During the semi-finals, Matty advanced to the finals after receiving his second Golden Buzzer, this time from Amanda Holden.
