Caprice Cayetano plays young Heart Evangelista in TJ Monterde's 'Teka Lang' MV
Caprice Cayetano took on the role of a young Heart Evangelista in her first-ever music video appearance for TJ Monterde's latest single, "Teka Lang."
Released on Wednesday, the music video opens with Caprice sharing a sweet and playful text conversation with a young boy portrayed by Jairo Nolasco.
They met one summer on a camping site, spending time with friends and creating memorable moments.
However, their budding connection is cut short when Caprice's character is forced to move away, leaving their story unfinished.
Twenty-three years later, the narrative shifts to the present, with Heart and John Prats portraying the adult versions of the pair. The two unexpectedly cross paths inside a bus after years apart.
Heart is already seated when she notices John boarding. Visibly caught off guard, she pauses as memories of their shared past seem to come flooding back.
As their eyes meet, the former friends exchange warm, nostalgic smiles. John greets Heart with a friendly wave, which she gladly returns—an emotional reunion that resonates with the song's themes of love, timing, and second chances.
In a previous interview with Nelson on "24 Oras," Caprice said she idolizes Heart and hopes to work with her.
The Global Fashion Icon likewise expressed her enthusiasm to work with Caprice, saying "puwede siyang maging little Heart."
Caprice is set to star in upcoming Kapuso series, "You're My Favorite Song" alongside her fellow PBB Collab 2.0 housemates Heath Jornales, Marco Masa, Lee Victor, Clifford, Waynona Collings, and Princess Aliyah.
Meanwhile, Heart and John were a popular love team in the early 2000s.
