Kuya Kurt appears in 'The Master Cutter' as pares stall owner

Kuya Kurt is in his acting era!

The American vlogger who made the Philippines his second home has made a special appearance on "The Master Cutter."

On Monday's episode of the series on GMA Prime, Atoy (Dingdong Dantes) stops by a pares stall while looking for Ibyang (Sienna Stevens) and Ame (Jo Berry).

"Anak ng sinulid, parang na-nosebleed pa 'ko nito eh," Atoy said upon seeing that the stall owner is American.

"Pre, marunong din ako mag-Tagalog ah. Walang nosebleed-nosebleed dito," Kuya Kurt replied. "You wanna try the pares? S'yempre masarap ito."

When Atoy said he was looking for Ibyang and Ame, Kuya Kurt offered to post it on his social media and vlog.

While Atoy eats his pares, Kuya Kurt is hounded by men who are asking for the money he owes them.

The men also bother Atoy and they get into a physical fight that causes them to leave.

Atoy also encourages Kuya Kurt to move to their barangay for him to be safe.

Kuya Kurt rose to fame for his love for the Philippines. He is known for trying out different Filipino street food and carinderias.

Meanwhile, "The Master Cutter" airs Mondays to Fridays on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It also streams on Netflix. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
