Alden Richards longs for the past, Nadine Lustre escapes hers in 'Love, Siargao' trailer

Alden Richards and Nadine Lustre are searching for two different things in "Love, Siargao."

In the nearly three-minute trailer, Jao (Alden) travels to Siargao in search of his former long-term girlfriend, who was once expected to become his fiancée.

Meanwhile, Kara (Nadine) has made a life for herself on the island, embracing its peaceful atmosphere as she tries to leave her past behind.

The trailer also introduces Han Bin (Kim Ji Soo), co-owner of Katig Hotel in Siargao, where Jao stays during his visit to the Surfing Capital of the Philippines.

Han plays Cupid as he brings Jao and Kara together, with Kara eventually serving as Jao's tour guide around the island.

Also joining the cast are Kyline Alcantara, Vince Maristela, AZ Martinez, and Christopher Diwata, with a special participation by Coleen Garcia.

"Love, Siargao" is produced through a partnership between Viu Philippines, Viva Communications Inc., and GMA Network Inc. It is set to stream on Viu beginning June 26.
