Bea Alonzo, Kelvin Miranda nominated in inaugural FAMAS Broadcast Arts Awards

Bea Alonzo and Kelvin Miranda were among the Kapuso nominees at the inaugural FAMAS Broadcast Arts Awards!

On Facebook, the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences released the nominations for several categories.

Bea and Kelvin were both nominated under Best Performer (Series/Anthology) for their work in "Widows' War" and "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," respectively.

The two shows were also nominated under Best Series (Long/Short Form).

The show's respective directors Enzo Williams and Zig Dulay also received nominations for Best Director, along with "Magpakailanman" director Don Michael Perez.

"Magpakailanman," along with Kapuso programs "Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko," "Wish Ko Lang," "Tadhana," and "Regal Studio Presents," were nominated under Best Anthology.

For Best Screenplay, among the nominees are Anna Aleta Nadela ("Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre"), Senedy Que ("Magpakailanman"), and Lobert Villela ("Widow's War").

"TiktoClock" was nominated for Best Variety Show, while "Bubble Gang" and "Pepito Manaloto" were nominated for Best Comedy Show (Long/Short Form).

Meanwhile, Papa Dudut and "Barangay Love Stories" were nominated under Best Podcast Host and Best Podcast.

The FAMAS Broadcast Arts Awards Night is scheduled on July 20 at the Manila Hotel. —MGP/JCB, GMA News
