Bianca Umali travels to South Korea for World Vision clean water campaign
Bianca Umali flew to Seoul, South Korea, to participate in the 2026 World Vision 6K Global Marathon, an initiative aimed at helping communities that lack access to clean water.
On Instagram, Sparkle GMA Artist Center shared a video of the actress discussing her participation in the international event and her continued work with World Vision.
“Pagdating po namin sa Korea, meron pong pagtitipon-tipon ng mga ambassadors globally. Kasama po na exploratory mission namin doon, meron pong magaganap na Global 6K Run, which is a run to raise funds for the children for those targeted areas that do not have access to clean water,” Bianca said.
The Sparkle star shared that the advocacy behind the event inspired her to take part in the marathon.
“That is what really motivated me to take part in this. And with World Vision, as I have mentioned, I'm not just an ambassador. I am a partner of World Vision because I will do the best that I can to understand how we can help more areas here in the Philippines, which means helping more children,” she said.
Bianca also delivered a message to children who may be watching, assuring them of her support and commitment to the cause.
“Sa lahat ng mga bata na makakapanood nito, gusto ko pong malaman ninyo that Ate Bianca is here. Gusto kong malaman ninyo that World Vision is here. At gagawin namin ang abot ng aming makakaya para magdala natin ang tubig na malinis para po sa inyo,” she said.
Earlier this month, Bianca renewed her contract as an ambassador for World Vision Philippines.
Aside from her advocacy work, Bianca is busy with several upcoming projects. Among them is the animated film “Ella Arcangel” from GMA Pictures, where she will lend her voice to the title character.
