Rovilson Fernandez reunites with Vanness Wu at F4's 'F Forever' concert in Manila
Rovilson Fernandez had a nostalgic reunion with Taiwanese star Vanness Wu during the highly anticipated "F Forever" concert in Manila.
On Instagram, the television host shared snaps from the concert, where he and his wife, Drey Fernandez, watched the iconic boy band perform before thousands of Filipino fans at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Saturday.
In his caption, Rovilson expressed his admiration for Vanness, whom he described as his favorite member of F4.
"The legendary OG Asian boy band finally made it back to Manila—welcome home, F4," he wrote. "Everyone has their favorite member—or as we say in Asia, their 'bias.' Ours? The uber-gifted Vanness Wu."
Rovilson said the show marked his first time attending a Chinese concert and hearing F4 perform live, making it an unforgettable experience as he relived the nostalgia of the hit “Meteor Garden."
He added that while he and Drey had "an absolute blast" enjoying the music, the night's biggest highlight was seeing his friend shine on stage.
"But beyond the music, the biggest highlight was watching a friend command the stage with so much talent, charm, confidence, and charisma. Proud is an understatement," he wrote, before playfully calling for a solo concert from Vanness.
Rovilson also thanked Ellen Adarna and celebrity nail artist Mimi Qiu Reyes for inviting them to the concert and giving them a glimpse of "true fandom."
In the last slide, Rovilson also shared an old photo of himself with Vanness at a party.
Rovilson hosted “Asia’s Got Talent” in 2015, where Vanness served as one of the judges.
F4 brought their F Forever tour to the Philippine Arena on Saturday, June 27.
The group was formed in 2001 following their appearance on the hit series "Meteor Garden" alongside the late actress Barbie Hsu.
The band is best known for the songs "Meteor Rain," "Can't Lose You," and their cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love," among others.
