'The Master Cutter' now airing on 4 channels

"The Master Cutter" now has a wider reach on television.

According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the primetime series is now also simulcast on Heart of Asia and I Heart TV, aside from GMA Network and GTV.

Lead star Dingdong Dantes, who plays Atoy, expressed his happiness at the news.

"Masaya kami na mas mapapalawak pa ang reach at mga manonood ng 'The Master Cutter,'" he said.

In the series, Atoy is also set to disguise himself as a nun to look for the real parents of Ibyang in the next few episodes.

Meanwhile, Charlie Fleming and Prince Carlos were surprised at the audience's reaction to their on-cam chemistry as Carla and Gavin.

"Actually, ang bilis natin mag-gel eh. 'Yung unang convo palang namin, alam ko nang okay 'yung energy namin," Prince said.

"She's a yapper, she talks a lot. And I'm more of a listener kasi so parang nag-ko-compliment 'yung personalities namin," he added.

Charlie said they are both Christian, so their values also align.

"The Master Cutter" airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also streaming on Netflix. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
