Japanese-American actor Luke Ishikawa Plowden visits PH for charity event, meets fans
Japanese-American actor Luke Ishikawa Plowden made the most of his visit to the Philippines by attending a charity event and meeting his Filipino fans.
According to Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras" Friday, the actor visited Tondo, Manila with the Philippine Red Cross to spent some time with the kids.
"We met so many wonderful kids there, was all smiles. Sat down with around a 150 wonderful, wonderful smiling kids, sang some songs with them, and eventually they're a little shy, so I sat down and got to talk and kinda let them come to me and ask questions and they were really curious and so cute," he shared.
The "Oh My Boss" and "Nabi, My Stepdarling" also participated in a fashion show, where he had the opportunity to meet some of his FIlipino fans.
He was heartened by the warmth and hospitality of Filipinos, and he now plans to return to the country.
"I'm ready to receive the love, to give as much love as I can, come back as often as possible, and enjoy the country, enjoy the people, so thank you so much for all the support so far," he said.
Luke is also open to working with Filipino artists, and there have been talks for a possible collaboration project, per Carampel's report.
"I can't disclose what it is, but there have already been some offers," he added.
