Pokwang to star in Cinemalaya film '2 Valid IDs'

Pokwang is bringing her acting chops to the Cinemalaya Film Festival!

In a post, Sparkle shared the comedienne will be starring in the film “2 Valid IDs,” an official entry to the 2026 Cinemalaya Film Festival.

“Ano! Kailangan ng two valid IDs? Kaya nga ako nag-aaply ng ID eh dahil wala akong ID!” Pokwang said in the video announcement.

Aside from Pokwang, the film will also star Meryll Soriano, Joey Marquez and Zaijan Jaranilla.

It will be screened during the festival period in August.

Pokwang most recently appeared in “Stars on The Floor” as one of the show’s judges.
