Ate Gay reveals undergoing treatment after doctors found lump near neck
Ate Gay shared that doctors recently found a lump near his neck and that he has since undergone treatment.
On Facebook, the comedian revealed that the lump was found below his neck, near his shoulder, and was immediately treated through CyberKnife.
“Nakitaan ako ng bukol sa ibaba ng leeg ko malapit sa balikat na agad Nila Inagapan gamit Ang CYBERKNIFE 1 (5session),” he wrote.
He also thanked the people who have been supporting him throughout the treatment, including his loved ones and his doctors.
“Di naman maapektuhan Ang Energy ko dahil dito, pinapayagan nila ako magperform ng bonggang bongga,” he said.
CyberKnife is a robotic, non-invasive radiation therapy system that delivers highly targeted radiation to treat certain tumors and other medical conditions without surgery.
Just last month, Ate Gay said that he no longer has lumps on his neck following his MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).
In a September 2025 episode of "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho," Ate Gay disclosed his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis, and since then, blessings have been pouring in for the comedian.
An anonymous donor helped him with his radiation therapy at the Asian Hospital, while a fan lent a condo unit nearby for the comedian's convenience.
After six days of treatment, the lump on his neck had visibly shrunk. In an October 2025 interview with Nelson Canlas, Ate Gay gave the lowdown of his full treatment: 35 days of radiation and five times a week of chemotherapy.
Last November, Ate Gay said he already "graduated" from radiation and chemotherapy.
An update from December 2025 also showed that the lump on his neck has already flattened.
