Thai TikTok star Aon Somrutai arrives in PH for the first time

Aon Somrutai, a Thai TikTok star best known for her viral catchphrase, "Thank you, Kateyki!", has arrived in the Philippines!

On Instagram, Aon's entertainment account shared a video of her arrival at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where she was greeted by fans and graciously posed for photos with them.

The Thai content creator is in the country for a magazine photoshoot and a guest appearance on "It's Showtime," which marks "the beginning of her expansion into the local entertainment industry," Grace Foronda, a local entertainment executive said on social media.

Aon has partnered with Universal Records PH, Foronda adds.

Aon is fresh from Paris Fashion Week, where she met Heart Evangelista.

In April, Liza Soberano also met Aon at the 2025 Coachella Music & Arts Festival.

In case you're wondering, Kateyki is actually one of Aon's bodyguards in Thailand, who often accompanies Aon during her luxurious shopping sprees.

Whenever her bodyguard opens the door for her or holds her shopping bags, she always says her catchphrase: "Thank you, Kateyki." — LA, GMA News
