Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo did get married, her lawyer said Tuesday, confirming also that the happy couple signed a prenuptial agreement.

In a message to GMA News, Joey V. Garcia of GERA LAW said that Bea and businessman Vincent Co tied the knot in a civil ceremony at Makati City Hall at around 7 p.m. on Monday, officiated by Mayor Nancy Binay.

Garcia also addressed "public speculation" about a prenup. "The earlier reports suggesting that there was any dispute, hesitation, or unresolved issue concerning a prenuptial agreement are not accurate," he said.

He added that there was no "legal impediment" arising from the signing of the prenup.

"I must state clearly and unequivocally, for the record and in fairness to all concerned, that a prenuptial agreement was duly signed executed and entered into freely and voluntarily by the contracting parties, Ms. Bea Alonzo and Mr. Vincent Co, without issue," he said.
