Former 'The Clash' winners, runners-up return to perform with Top 9 of 'The Clash Teens' in collab round

The competition is heating up on "The Clash Teens" as its Top 9 finalists prepare for a new challenge that will see them perform alongside former champions and finalists of "The Clash."

According to Athena Imperial’s report on "24 Oras” on Friday, the singing competition announced the return of several “The Clash” alumni for the "Collab Bosesan" round, where the remaining contestants will team up with past winners and runners-up.

Still in the running for the title are Martin Miguel, Kaye Gabunada, Besa Trestiza, Clowy Tiglao, Lois Bersalona, Bien Opena, Hannah May, Inigo Badillo, and Violette Sta. Cruz.

Among those returning is Golden Cañedo, the first-ever “The Clash” grand champion, who said she has seen the competition become more intense through the years.

"Pagaling nang pagaling. Bardagulan talaga. Ang daming seasons, pero mas nag-upgrade, mas mahirap ang competition," she said.

Also making a comeback is Arabelle Dela Cruz, winner of “Veiled Cup” and first runner-up of "The Clash" 2025, who said she sees her younger self in this season's contestants because of their passion and commitment.

“Nakikita ko din kasi kung gaano sila ka-committed sa performance nila, kung paano sila lalaban sa competition. So parang nakita ko 'yung batang ako,” she said.

Meanwhile, “The Clash" 2024 grand champion Naya Ambi and "The Clash" Season 3 grand champion Jessica Villarubin are also excited to return to the stage where their journey began.

“Super excited ako and at the same time masaya kasi babalik ako sa Clash Arena kung saan nagsimula 'yung journey ko. I'm very excited to see these young teens na, syempre, gustong-gusto ko sila makita in person, kung paano sila mag-perform in person,” Jessica said.

"I can sense their determination. Kasi 'pag bata talagang on fire ka pa sa ano mo eh, sa pangarap mo talaga, na gigil na agigil ka na makuha. And that's a good sign. So, very excited to see them perform and to collaborate with them,” she added.

“The Clash” Season 1 finalist Garrett Bolden also admitted that returning to the Clash Arena brings back the same nerves he felt as a competitor.

"I'm super blessed and excited. Bumabalik 'yung kaba, 'yung kaba na parang Clasher talaga akonun before parang ako 'yung kumo-compete," he shared.

The upcoming "Collab Bosesan" round is expected to feature even more powerful performances as the remaining “The Clash Teens” finalists join forces with former “The Clash” champions and finalists.

The collaborations are also set to make judging more challenging for "The Clash" panel composed of Jillian Ward, JL Toreliza, and Christian Bautista, as they evaluate the contestants' performances.

“Marami silang ma-i-ko-contribute at I'm sure na sa galing at experience ng ating Clashers, ang Teen Clashers, masasandalan talaga sila,” Christian said.
