SB19 performs 'Gento,' 'Wakas' at Grammy Museum: 'Another reason to keep dreaming bigger'
SB19 once again reached a major milestone by visiting and performing at the Grammy Museum.
As seen in the P-Pop Kings’ Instagram Stories, they first started their visit with a Q&A session about their creative journey as a group and the stories behind their music.
SB19 performed two songs, their dance hit “Gento” and the ballad “Wakas.”
Leader Pablo thanked the Grammy Museum for having them.
“It’s such an honor to be able to perform on this stage and show Filipino talent all over the world,” he said.
In an Instagram post, SB19 said the Grammy Museum "gave us more than a stage."
"It gave us another reason to keep dreaming bigger," they said.
“Last night was proof that our journey continues and that our mission to bring Filipino music to the world is far from over,” they added.
SB19 is set to perform at Lollapalooza on July 31 (PH time), hold their "I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet" in the United States on August 8 and 9, perform at Summer Sonic on August 14 and 15, and conclude with the "I WaS There Thanksgiving Fanmeet" in Japan on August 18.
The Department of Tourism is holding a watch party of SB19's Lollapalooza set on Friday, July 31 at Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium in Manila.
Meanwhile, member Josh is fresh from throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees game at Rate Field in Chicago.
