Entertainment journalist Jobert Sucaldito passes away

Veteran Filipino entertainment journalist and radio host Jobert Sucaldito has passed away. He was 65.

His death was announced on Sunday through the Facebook page OOTD Jobert and Chaps Channel, which is dedicated to the YouTube show of Jobert and director Chaps Manansala.

"Lubos po naming ipinapaalam na ang aming pinakamamahal na Nanay Jobert Sucaldito ay mapayapang pumanaw," the statement read.

"Maraming salamat sa inyong walang sawang pagmamahal, suporta, panalangin, at pagtangkilik sa kanya sa paglipas ng mga taon," it added.

Earlier in July, Chaps asked for prayers for Jobert after he had been confined at Providence Hospital in Quezon City for nearly a month due to anxiety and sleep deprivation.

As of writing, his cause of death has yet to be revealed.
