Eric Fructuoso reveals Claudine Barretto was his first girlfriend

Eric Fructuoso didn't just date Claudine Barretto in the past.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” when the former matinee idol was asked about his dating life in the past, he revealed Claudine was his first girlfriend.

“Bata pa kami nun,” Eric said about Claudine, adding he also became close with her siblings.

“I was also close to her older sisters," Eric said in Filipino. "When I get into a relationship, it's really like being friends with my partner. Very playful."

According to Eric, he didn’t take it against fellow Gwapings member Mark Anthony Fernandez, when he dated Claudine after their relationship.

“That wasn't a problem. For me, when a relationship is over, it's over,” Eric said adding it didn’t affect his relationship with Mark.

On "Fast Talk," AsideEric also admitted to dating Ara Mina, whom he described as "puppy love" and Joyce Jimenez, whom he called cool.

“What I like about Joyce is she's frank. She grew up in America right? So she really speaks her mind," Eric added.

Meanwhile, he denied dating Aubrey Miles, saying they only “liked” each other.

“We really didn't get into a relationship. I liked her. We liked each other — it's hard to describe, but it wasn't very deep or anything. Maybe like a mutual understanding, but it didn't really become anything serious or deep."

As for Toni Gonzaga, Eric downplayed their past, saying, "I just had a crush on her. We can leave it at that."

It can be recalled that in a 2023 interview, Eric said he and Toni had gone out on dates. "Nauna si Claudine, and then si Toni," he said back then.

But on Wednesday, Tito Boy told Eric about Toni's eventual denial. Responding to the claim, Eric clarified, "Hindi naman kasi talaga."

In the same interview, he also revealed dating a fan in the ‘90s.

“Well, noong ‘90s naman eh everyone was a fan, diba? Parang ganoon eh. It wasn’t ano…hindi naman talaga ‘yung fan na ‘yung may dala pang magazine or everything. Hindi ganoon.” — LA, GMA News
