Mikee Quintos planning to take architecture licensure exam next year
Mikee Quintos is busy pursuing her architecture career aside from her showbiz commitments.
In Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras” Wednesday, the Kapuso actress shared that she is gaining hands-on experience in the field before planning to take the architecture licensure exam next year.
"I partnered with my best friend from college, who is already a licensed architect, and I'm really doing this more for the experience than anything else. That way, I'll have practical experience before I take the board exam,” Mikee said in Filipino and English.
"I'm sure that if I have the experience, I will be able to answer some of the questions on the exam. Maybe I'll take the boards next year. It would be such a waste if I don't take the licensure exam after spending 10 years, right?” she added.
Mikee graduated from college after 10 years in 2025.
For her thesis, she conducted a survey in GMA Network Center, where she placed boards around the compound with a QR code for GMA employees and visitors to scan. The QR code led to a short survey about issues and improvements in the area, such as lighting, sidewalks, and traffic.
Mikee is set to star in the upcoming film “Saving Cherry,” which is headlined by Barbie Forteza.
Directed by Ivan Andrew Payawal, “Saving Cherry” will premiere in cinemas on September 2.
