Princess Aliyah finally celebrated her much-awaited 18th birthday with a grand debut party after a month of preparations.

According to Athena Imperial’s report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the young singer and actress was hands-on in planning the celebration, from conceptualizing her pre-debut photoshoot and choosing her outfits to attending the food tasting and venue ocular for the special occasion.

Princess shared that she initially suggested going on a trip instead of having a lavish celebration, but her family encouraged her to experience a traditional debut.

"My sister and mom said that since they didn’t have a debut, I should be the one to have it. Even though I suggested we just travel instead, they said no so that at least one of us would get to experience something like this," she said in Filipino.

Looking every bit the princess in a blush Francis Libiran gown, Princess shared that she would be treating guests to a series of musical performances.

"My non-negotiable for this, well, I said I wanted to turn my birthday into a sort of mini-concert. I want to showcase my talent in singing and dancing," she said.

Among those who joined her milestone celebration were her fellow "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" housemates, who were part of her 18 roses and 18 shots.

Also present at the event were GMA Network Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Sparkle GMA Artist Center First Vice President Joy Marcelo, along with other GMA executives.

Princess dropped her debut single “Amba” in June. It was also featured in “You’re My Favorite Song.”

Princess is the Kapuso Fourth Big Placer of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0," which featured 20 Gen Z celebrities from Sparkle and Star Magic.
