Heart Evangelista clarifies 'friends vs. money' remark in 'The People Have Spoken'
Heart Evangelista clarified her recent remark in "the People Have Spoken" about choosing having money over having friends.
On Tuesday, "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" played a clip of their interview with Heart before she renewed her contract with Sparkle.
"What I meant was, if I can explain, I'd rather have a handful of friends than an army of acquaintances," she said in a mix of Filipino and English.
"When you say friends, it's like they're just friends. But it's different when you treat someone like family. But to be honest, for me, I'll take that back. I'd rather have my family and my real friends than a lot of money. But if I can have both, that's OK, too," she added.
Heart hosts "The People Have Spoken" with Sean Lucas. The game show airs Saturdays on GMA Network at 6:15 p.m. after "24 Oras."
She also recently starred in the music video for TJ Monterde's song "Teka Lang" opposite John Prats. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA News
