Kendra Kramer open to pageantry, eyes PH swimming team first
Kendra Kramer may have what it takes to become a beauty queen, but for now, her sights are set on a different goal: making it to the Philippine swimming team.
During an interview on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Thursday, Kendra’s parents, Chesca and Doug Kramer, shared that their daughter has been open to entering pageantry someday.
"We don’t really talk about those things, but there was one time when she was asked if she wanted to become Miss Universe, and I was so surprised. She said, ‘You know, I’m thinking about it. Maybe one day I’ll consider that,'" Chesca recalled.
Doug, meanwhile, said Kendra currently has another priority: swimming.
"And she said, ‘I want to try to make the Philippine swimming team first.’ Then she will graduate college, and then we’ll see how the Miss Universe thing goes," he shared.
Kendra started participating in swimming competitions in 2023 and won several medals.
In 2024, she made a comeback in swimming and bagged several medals at the Asia Christian Schools Conference (ACSC) Swimming competition in Hong Kong.
