Jeramie Sanico Heitmann earns four-chair turn on 'The Voice Australia'

Another Filipino is making waves on the international stage!

Australian-based Filipina singer Jeramie Sanico Heitmann impressed the coaches of “The Voice Australia” with her powerful rendition of Celine Dion’s “Because You Loved Me.”

In an Instagram clip shared by the reality singing competition on Monday, August 17, Jeramie delivered her performance during the blind auditions, eventually earning a four-chair turn from all four coaches.

Richard Marx was the first to turn his chair as Jeramie belted out the song’s chorus, followed by fellow coaches Ronan Keating, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Melanie C.

Jeramie’s performance also drew praise from fellow Filipino singer Sofronio Vasquez, who won “The Voice Season 26” in the United States.

“Makaproud,” Sofronio wrote in the comment section.

Following her blind audition, Jeramie took to Instagram to express her excitement over performing on what she described as one of Australia’s biggest stages.

“Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this… Tonight is the night!” she wrote.

“I can’t believe that I’ll be reliving this beautiful moment of singing in one of the biggest stages in Australia Above all, may God’s name be glorified,” she added.

The singer previously joined “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” on “It’s Showtime” in 2016.
