PEP: Jennylyn Mercado files reply affidavit vs ex-road manager
Last January 12, 2009, Jennylyn Mercado went to the Fiscal's Office in Quezon City to submit a reply affidavit to former road manager and now court enemy Mel Pulmano's counter-affidavit. "Di ba originally, may complaint? Tapos siyempre sasagot kami sa kanila. Tapos next time, sila naman ang sasagot and then submit na for resolution." It was last year, October 2008, when Jennylyn filed 19 counts of qualified theft thru falsification of commercial documents. That's not all; she also pitched in 9 counts of falsification of documents against Mel Pulmano. At their recent meeting at court, did Jen feel anything when she saw her former road manager? "Wala," was all Jen could say. According to Jen's manager Becky Aguila, they heard no news about Mel's camp in regards to reaching a peaceful agreement. "Wala," added Becky. "Wala ngang remorse, e. Lumalaban nang husto. Wala, e. Mel's lawyer Galileo Angeles showed complete confidence on the matter. He explained, "Hindi naman kami natatakot. We have answered; we have fully complied and rebuffed all the allegations. As a matter of fact, wala nga silang proof na peke talaga yung pirma na ‘yan, e. TITA. C. Meanwhile, a tabloid column written by Nene Riego stated that Mrs. Fe Cleopas, a.k.a. "Tita C" filed an estafa case against Mel and Jennylyn because of bounced cheques. "We have not received anything whatsoever," Atty. Joji said. "Hindi pa rin namin ma-verify kung totoo. But if we're going to follow the story in that particular article, mayroon daw demanda laban kay Jen for estafa because of her supposed issuance of cheques na tumalbog na hindi naman niya pirma." MEL FILES COMPLAINT IN DOLE. Last Thursday, January 15, Mel and her lawyer visited the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) to file a complaint against Becky and Jennylyn. - Philippine Entertainment Portal
