Alfred Vargas denies allegations of 'two-timing'

Alfred Vargas has many issues to deal with ranging from showbiz to politics. Last February 8 in Showbiz Central, Alfred guested live to face the five hosts to answer a range of questions. The first one came from Pia Guanio, and she asked, "Two timer ka raw, Alfred. Balitang-balita na pinagsabay mo daw ang current girlfriend mo at StarStruck Batch 2 contestant na si Jana Roxas." "Tayo, e, tayo, one timer lang," smiled Alfred. "Never ko pinagsabay ang kahit sino. Hindi ko bine-betray ang trust ng isang babae." Raymond Gutierrez was next. He asked, "May mga nasusulat na you have plans on quitting showbiz to join politics. Is there any truth to that?" "I have no plans on quitting showbiz, but I'm thinking about politics," Alfred answered. As early as now, I'm trying to get to know the field and it takes a lot of preparation. It's a decision na hindi lang overnight. So, nag-uumpisa 'yon kung ready ako, tapos if the people around me are ready to support me. So far, okay naman lahat and we're seeing good signs. 2010 pa naman 'yon and the important things is that I'm willing to serve." After Alfred's explanation, Raymond followed up his question on whether Alfred has made up his mind, percentage wise, on joining politics. Alfred answered by stating that he really just wants to help a lot of people. Mo Twister was next. He asked, "Can you say that you're desperate that join the industry that nagpa-sexy ka sa umpisa? Why did you do sexy roles just to join showbiz?" "I'm proud of the roles I did," said Alfred. "Sa Bridal Shower, e, pinag-aralan ko yung role ko doon. I won an award for that role. I'm proud and will always be proud. It was an artistic decision." This time, it was Rufa Mae Quinto's turn. She asked, "Sino naman ang girlfriend mo? Name drop ka naman." "Her name is Yasmien, and she is half-Italian, half-Filipino," said Alfred. "Magaling siya mag-Tagalog. She's 21 years old." John Lapus came in last. "Oo naman!" said Alfred. "As long as maganda ang role at maganda ang kuwento, director, at project. Basta artistic." Mo can't help but interject and asked, "Bakit kayo nag-break ni LJ Reyes?
