BORACAY Island, Aklan - The robbery case against model-anchor Andrew Wolff and friend Jay Olle was dropped after the victim withdrew his complaint, police said Tuesday. Police Officer 1 Aaron Gaton told GMANews.TV that the complainant, mall security guard Rodolfo Norbi, and the accused, Wolff and Olle, have amicably settled the case in the presence of the Aklan provincial prosecutor. Wolff and Olle were arrested by the Boracay police after the duo allegedly harassed Norbi, who was then on duty at D’Mall, by tying his hands and taking the guard’s .38 caliber revolver. "The suspects were supposed to be charged with robbery, the reason why we brought them to the prosecutors’ office for the filing of charges. But since the affidavit of desistance have already been filed, then Wolff and Olle would be released from detention," said Gaton. - Jun Ariolo N. Aguirre, GMANews.TV
