PEP: 'Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?' soars high in Mega Manila

MANILA, Philippines – GMA's afternoon soap "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin?" continues to produce primetime ratings, as high as 31 percent (last June 2), to lead all daytime programs. Coming in second behind the Aljur Abrenica-Kris Bernal starrer is another Kapuso soap, "Paano Ba ang Mangarap?," starring Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras. Completing the Top 5 are "Eat Bulaga!," 'Daisy Siete," and "Wowowee." On the other hand, viewers prefer to watch the latest news (and weather report) during primetime as shown by the surge of "24 Oras" surge in the ratings game. The primetime newscast of GMA topped the primetime race last June 3 and 4, while "Zorro" took the top spot on June 2. The race for the following spots is wide open, with several programs occupying these slots.
